Ski Rentals and High Performance Demo Skis

 

Remember when it was uncool to rent?

Remember when you said, in 1986, just after Van Halen united with Sammy, that you were going to buy your own skis? And you still have those same skis, don't you?

Whether new to the sport, or returning for another year, rentals are a sensible alternative to purchasing your own equipment before you're ready. We have all of the latest shapes and styles available for DEMO as well! 3' of fresh and you've got toothpicks, no worries, we have some fat boards to float you to pow-pow heaven.

SAVE TIME, RESERVE YOUR GEAR

All you need to do is stop in anytime before you are ready to go up for the winter (pre-season is the BEST time). We'll talk to you about your skier type and get your info on file so you can simply CALL AHEAD and reserve your skis anytime!! (Reserve up to 5 days in advance for those busy weekends!)

FOR THE KIDS

Seasonal rentals are also available. Our kids package at $160 is offered to help make it easier to get your growing children outfitted for the year and are very popular. Act now as these packages are limited!

RENTAL EQUIPMENT

Our rental offerings come in two styles. For the sake of sticking to industry jargon, we call them standard and performance. We also offer a full range of 2008 Demo models.

Head Big Easy Rentals:

This is our standard rental. The Head Big Easy is a superb Beginner/Intermediate ski for any snow condition. This ski has a large surface area and deep side cut that encourages correct skiing technique, yet it is very forgiving. You can make form mistakes and it will forgive you. High speeds are not the Big Easy's strength, as the ski is soft and has such a big side cut. Faster advanced/expert skiers may decide to pass on this ski, opting instead for the RX4 performance rental, but up to advanced intermediate skiers will ski great on the Big Easy in any conditions. A full wood core and a tight radius make this a super fun rental!

Fischer RX4 rentals:

The Fischer RX4 is our "performance" rental offering. If you are a more aggressive skier, or one who likes to ski faster, we recommend the RX4. A stiffer ski than the Big Easy, with a bit less sidecut. The RX4 is extremely smooth and stable at higher speeds and is suitable for advanced renters. The RX4 has a full wood core combined with a carbon fiber top sheet for great torsional grip on ice or when pushing the limits. Combine this with a “floating” Railflex binding that is integrated into the ski to allow for full, even flex along the ski and this is the rental for those who like to stretch the envelope.
