As a Ski Rental Associate, you’ll be the go-to person for helping guests get set up with the right gear for their day on the mountain. You’ll ensure that all rental equipment is fitted properly, maintained to the highest standards, and ready for safe, enjoyable use. This role is perfect for someone who loves the snow, enjoys working with people, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Customer Service
•Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
•Guide guests through the rental process, from selecting the right equipment to explaining how to use it safely.
•Answer questions about equipment and provide general mountain conditions information.
Equipment Fitting & Safety
•Measure and fit customers for skis, boots, poles, and helmets.
•Adjust bindings to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
•Educate customers on equipment use and safety procedures.
Equipment Maintenance & Organization
•Inspect, clean, and maintain rental gear before and after each use.
•Organize and restock equipment in the rental area to ensure quick turnaround times.
•Identify and report damaged or worn-out equipment for repair or replacement.
Operations & Administration
•Process rental transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
•Track and record rental inventory.
•Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient rental shop environment.
Teamwork & Communication
•Work closely with fellow associates and supervisors to ensure smooth rental operations.
•Communicate any customer concerns, equipment issues, or safety risks to management promptly.
Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak ski season.
•Basic knowledge of ski equipment (training provided).
•Strong attention to detail and safety standards.
•Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
•Willingness to work weekends and during holiday periods.
