Boot Fitting for Alpine and Backcountry Boots

Please make an appointment in advance to ensure availability. We do strive to accommodate everyone who walks into our store; if all our boot fitters are working with other customers when you arrive, we’ll help you make an appointment for a later time.

Boot Fitting Appointment Information
  • Full boot fitting service takes approximately 2-½ hours.
  • Please schedule a separate appointment for each person being fitted.
  • We also offer a “couples” service, which schedules a 4-hour time slot for two people to be fitted at the same time.
  • For parties of three or more, please make separate single or couples appointments.
  • Cross-country boot fittings do not require appointments. Come on in!
Appointment & Service Fees
  • Customers pay the price of the boots plus an additional $400 (Labor fee + Insole)
  • There is a flat $200 fee for a full bootfitting.  The fee covers our labor at a discounted rate.
  • Customers will also get a custom insole to which will provide you with a comfort fit guarantee. If you already have a custom footbed that we deem functionally sufficient we can use that. Otherwise, we will provide one at the discounted rate of $200.

  • We charge a $50 deposit when you reserve your boot fitting appointment and apply your deposit towards the $200 boot fitting fee at checkout. Appointments canceled more than 24 hours in advance will receive a full refund.
  • Within 24 hours, you may reschedule your appointment and we’ll apply your deposit to your new appointment time.
  • We regret that we cannot refund booking fees for cancellations made on the day of your appointment. We encourage you to reschedule your appointment instead.

Ski Service

  • Appointments are not necessary for ski service drop-off.
  • You must bring both boots for any service that requires a binding test.
  • If we’re going to replace existing bindings, let us know at drop-off if you would like your old bindings returned.
  • We will only keep replaced bindings for 7 days after pickup.
  • Please check in online before your arrival to save you time in the shop.

Rentals

  • Reservations are recommended so we can better prepare for your arrival.
  • Select the Rental Service option below, and make an appointment for each person in your party.
  • To speed up the rental process, please check in online in advance.
  • Appointments are not needed for rental returns.
