*We tune with the only ski-factory-level, German-made Reichmann robotic tuning machine combo in California. Our technicians have years of experience and are factory-trained by Reichmann. Skis are prepped by filling base damage and cutting the ski sidewall away from the edges. This ensures exacting and consistent outcomes. Our standard tune has a stone-ground medium depth “Thumbprint” structure. We find that this is perfect for the Sierra snowpack. Stockli, Wagner and other premium ski makers also use this pattern. We grind edges at a .75° base and 2° side edge. This is a bit quicker and more responsive than most factory tunes. We have used this for years with great feedback from all levels of skier. Our tunes are finished with a non-toxic state-of-the-art infrared hot wax or a permanent PHANTOM Glide base treatment, which is the most environmentally friendly option available.
**Generally speaking, if it is designed to mount onto a ski we will do the job. We have extensive jigs and are adept at paper jig mounting. Chances are that we have seen it before…
